"I don't have a favorite music genre. Music is such a great thing that it is stupid to limit yourself to genres."
Hop Rock is wary bird, but he is by no means shy. He is very outgoing and will always speak his mind. Hop Rock has a spirited and a bit eccentric personality. His first love is of music. He loves to listen to all kind of music and also looooves to play it. Unfortunately, he is not so good at producing pleasant sounds. What he produces can best be described as… sounds. Just sounds.
What he is good at, though, is writing about music. He writes columns for influential bird-music magazines, reviewing latest albums and singles for The Voice of Nightingale and Canary Notes. For few years he was editor-in-chief of The American Robin.
His ancestors are from Spain, but have flown over the Atlantic and settled in Seattle during the grunge fever. They came right about time the movie Singles was released.
Hop Rock reads a lot, his favorites being Poe, King, Lovecraft and Hesse. He loves talking about creatures from horror/sci-fi movies, and he idolizes Morrissey.
